Fairfield Varsity Falcons Defeated By Churubusco Varsity Eagles April 14, 2026 vs. Churubusco Varsity Eagles Fairfield Varsity Falcons fell to Churubusco Varsity Eagles 11-6 on Tuesday at Fairfield Jr. / Sr. High School. Churubusco Varsity Eagles jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Gordon doubled, scoring one run, Richards doubled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run. Churubusco Varsity Eagles added to their early lead in the top of the third inning when Buchanan singled, scoring two runs, and Motter grounded out, scoring one run. Brock earned the win for Churubusco Varsity Eagles. The pitcher surrendered three hits and one run over four innings, striking out two and walking three. Miller pitched four innings in relief for Fairfield Varsity Falcons. The reliever surrendered zero hits and three runs (one earned) while, striking out three and walking two. Garber took the loss for Fairfield Varsity Falcons. The starting pitcher went two innings, giving up seven runs (four earned) on five hits, striking out one and walking two. Castetter, Chupp, Tobias, and Miller each drove in one run for Fairfield Varsity Falcons. Miller went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Fairfield Varsity Falcons in hits.
